For what it's worth, 87/50 is pret...Hi Kristen. For what it's worth, 87/50 is pretty much my normal, and I don't take any blood pressure medication. In the first couple years post injury, I would get lightheaded occasionally (like if I was tilted back for an extended period of time, and sat all the way up too quickly), but have not felt like I was going to pass out (or actually passed out) from low BP in years. One good thing about starting off with a low baseline like 87/50 is that when I start to get a little dysreflexic, it goes up to something like 120/80 (as you know, the normal for most folks).
